Masala Chai

Masala Chai

Ingredients
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup whole milk 
2 tsp Masala Chai Mix
2 tsp jaggery
pinch of salt

Tools
A pot (I recommend a Turkish Coffee Pot)
A strainer
A milk frother for aeration (optional)

Process
1. Bring the water to a boil on med-heat.
2. Add the chai mix and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes. The longer you simmer, the stronger the chai will be. 
3. Add the milk, sweetener, salt and bring to a boil on med-high heat. 
4. Let it simmer for 1-2 mins, keep an eye on the pot as it can easily spill over.
5. Strain and enjoy!
6. Optional Step: Aerate using the milk frother over a sink, do it once or twice to create a soft, creamy froth on top.
